Join me on my journey as I "met" videogames when I was a kid, getting so hooked on them I couldn't stop playing, being addicted to it, losing interest in anything else. I gamed extremely, playing MMORPGs for thousands of hours. Trying to become a pro-gamer - I became an utter wreck, fat, very clumsy in socializing, having close to zero self-confidence and no hope for the future, being (cyber)bullied - it led to me even thinking of suicide at one point in my life.

I touched my rock bottom. But eventually, after many years, I got out of it - I improved my life, I now have a good job, a girlfriend, I regained my self esteem to the level that I could now even write about it and share my story.

This is not another "games are evil and cause aggression" kind of book - I still play videogames today. But not in an extreme, unsustainable way anymore. And this is my "sober" take on the whole issue. This book is not only about videogames either, but also about other types of "modern tech content" and how it impacts us all, but most of all, the young people who didn't yet have the chance to develop strong habits and willpower in their lives.

This book is about my journey and what learning points I got from it all. Sometimes it is good to hear about someone else's f..k ups to help you not to repeat them.

DISCLAIMER!: this is a preorder of a first, non-edited version of my book. As I feel that the topic is even more pressing today, during the quarantine, when extreme, harmful habits are being formed, I find it crucial to publish the book as soon as possible. That is why there was not enough time to go through an editing process on top of the writing and translation. That means there might be some gramatical/other errors here and there, but on the other hand, the thoughts and opinions are "pure", not edited in any way. So please keep this in mind and if you can't tolerate some errors, please don't rather buy the book to avoid possible disappointment :-).
